Zac found a lady on ksl that was giving away free coal. He wanted to have it to burn during the winter along with the wood in our stove. He loaded up the van a couple of times and made the kids get to work.
They would unload the van to the retaining wall, and Zac put the coal in a box he built under the deck. It is pretty full.
The coal was really messy.
At the last games of the season, we realized we didn't take a single picture of the kids playing. I also have their team pictures I've been meaning to scan and upload. One day. Here is Eric hitting the ball and hanging out on a base. He played really well this year and has improved so much from last year. Next year they have try-outs for the teams.
Aubrey had fun playing coach pitch this year. She was one of the best hitters on the team. She had fun going to practice and the games.
This basically sums up Jennifer's year of t-ball. Jennifer, in the outfield, HOLDING her glove and staring at us instead of the ball.
Making goats out of her hands and taunting the other players.
She never seemed to grasp the concept of running straight to 1st base. She would hit the ball and always run after the ball she just hit, pick it up, then run to 1st base. She was hilarious to watch. All of the parents knew her name.
Our little baseball players with their medals.
